Dr. Hugh Anthony Roberts is a renowned Consultant in General Surgery with an impressive educational background. He obtained his undergraduate degree, M.B.B.S., and postgraduate degree, D.M. in General Surgery, from the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus.

Dr. Roberts holds prestigious titles and degrees, including F.C.C.S. (Fellow of the Caribbean College of Surgeons) and F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons). He has achieved remarkable milestones in his career, including being the youngest Head of the Membership Committee of the Caribbean College of Surgeons and serving as the President of the Association of Surgeons in Jamaica from 2022 to 2024. He also serves as Head of the Undergraduate Surgery programme and Head of the Postgraduate (General Surgery) programme at Kingston Public Hospital (KPH).

With expertise in various areas, Dr. Roberts offers a wide range of services. His areas of specialization include breast disease, endocrine disease (thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands), abdominal wall hernias, gastrointestinal conditions (stomach, small intestine, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, spleen, colon, rectum, and anus), vascular conditions, lumps and bumps, circumcision, testicular torsion, and general surgical emergencies.
